Sunday = Holy Crap

After much strategizing and strategery I think I've come up with the marathon plan. I'm gonna run.

Just kidding. There's more.

P-Funk and I have been training together and she really helped me get through some of those tough long ones, so it only makes sense that we run together. I have grown quite accustom to her breathing pattern and she has grown accustom to my terrible jokes. We decided to start with a pacer and take it slow at the front end. Should we need to split up we will. For some reason, I don't see this happening, but marathons are a different animal.

Tonight is the BRA pasta dinner #1. Redhead will be joining, which is flippin sweet as will fellow blogger Sam from Operation Jack. Running friends + carbs = good time. Saturday I plan on heading to the expo and then another meal with the BRA. And then Sunday is GO TIME!

I know I am getting very anxious because the night before last I had a dream that I was a waitress. And I was late for my track meet. I was waiting on Prince and his baby to finish so I could get going. I was panicked because I had forgotten my clothing. I had no running shoes and clothes. I had to rush to the track meet in loafers. That's when I woke up.

Only 2 more sleeps to go and hopefully on Sunday morning, I won't forget my running shoes.

I'm so glad you and P are going to start off together, I think this will help you both get started in the right frame of mind! You are going to do so great, promise me you won't doubt yourself for one second because you trained so awesome Boo, you finished so many runs better than expected, you trained hard and smart and it's all going to come together on Sunday and you will get the Marathon you've trained over a frigging year for! When the going gets rough just remember how great you felt both 22 milers, channel that feeling and go with it! I will be at the Finish line cheering my heart out for you and I can't wait to say "I told you so!" when you totally blow your expectations out of the water! YOU'VE GOT THIS!!!!!!! Kill Bill style. :)

See you tonight! Love you!

Yeah, anytime I have the waitress dream I'm in trouble. You'll be fine on Sunday, Prince will be nowhere around that area!
