Thankful Thursday: I'm late!

Sheesh! I'm late. But not in the bun in the oven way, just late on the posting of this Thankful Thursday. It's been a crazy busy day at work and the weather in Central Florida has been of the Wizard of Oz proportions. I like the thunderstorms occassionally, but not when it keeps me from track. Oh well.

Let's get to thankfulnessing shall we?

Today I am thankful for:

1. Long showers with breaks in between.

2. Homemade pizza. Especially when not made by me, but for me.

3. The thought of someday being able to work from home. (Please oh please let this happen for my job!)

4. Sunny weekends. This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous!

5. 5K's. Hooray! I've got a 5K on deck for Saturday. I'm not sure if it'll be a PR cause I haven't really been focused on the running right now cause of the tri, but man I love a 5K. It's like 20 to 30 minutes of sheer lung pounding and then sweet releif it's over!

6. Hilarious emails from co-workers. I get so many emails everyday and some are unintentionally hilarious. I'd share them with you, but I'd like to remain employed.

7. New books! I have sooo many books lined up right now. I'm starting with the one for my work book club: Switch: How to change things when change is hard.

8. Random bouts of dancing. I have been known to break out in dance at any given moment. Yeap. I'm that guy. But it makes me so happy!

9. Saltines. I made the mistake of having some saltine crackers in my house a little bit ago and I ate the whole package in about a week. I love a saltine.

10. Swimming! Yes, I know I've been all talking up the tri stuff and riding Dolly (heh, that name is even more awesome when I talk about riding her. That's what he said!) but I have been getting my swim on too. And I love it! I truly am a fish on a bicycle.

So, what are you all thankful for today?

Goody two shoes

Typically I am a one shoe at a time runner. I do all of my training runs and races in the same pair of shoes. Lately though I've seen and heard lots of runners using two pairs of shoes. They use one for training and one for racing. This just so happened to coincide with the fact that I fell in love with these bad boys:

Behold, the Asics Gel-Noosa Tri. I saw this shoe and fell in love before I even knew what it's story was. The colors are amazing. Why yes of course it's LOUD, but I love the colors. (The men's version has bright blue!) According to the Asics' website:

"A racing flat designed to meet the needs of triathletes. Designed to be worn barefoot, with an open-mesh upper and perforated sockliner to keep feet cool. Speed laces save time in transition, and come in either standard or elastic form."

Well that's all I needed to headed to my favorite running shoe store and test these bad boys out. Hell, it could have said they were for flagging down aliens from outerspace and I'd have bought them.

True to the description, they are very light. I'm going to take them out to the track tomorrow night. Gary, my favorite salesman and running group buddy, told me he thinks they'd be great for racing of all forms since they are light and that while they won't last as many miles as a heavier shoe, he's gotten nothing but good reviews on them. Plus, he got his wife a pair so you know he wasn't just trying to sell the shoe.

Now in considering that this shoe wasn't one I would wear for my middle to long distance runs I needed another shoe. Since I had tried on some Pearl Izumi's last time I was in the store I decided to go ahead and give them a whirl. This is what I wound up with:

This is the Pearl Izumi isoShift. According to the webiste:

"The isoShift has an optimal blend of cushioning and guidance in a lightweight stability shoe. With a lively forefoot feel, superb cushioning, and the 1:1 Graduated Guidance System, this is the ideal shoe for runners looking for a lightweight, high performance stability shoe."

I ran my five miler in it this morning and it seems pretty good thus far. It is lighter than the New Balance I was in but it is lacking in some of the cushioning. I'll keep you all updated as I run more in it. So far so good.

And there you have it. I'm officially a two shoe user. Here's hoping they both work out for me. Even if they don't, I'm keeping the Asics for the crazy color factor alone.

Happy Hump Day.

Worth doing bad

On Sunday I decided to take Dolly,my road bike, out for a spin. Mind you, I've only ridden her out on the road three times now. The first time to test drive without the clips and the second and third time to test drive with the clips. Obviously test ride number two was not good since I fell over immediately and boo hoo'd. The third time went well and I had no whammies. This brings us to Sunday.

I took Dolly out to actually get a ride in and fortunately, I live close enough to a 7 mile paved trail loop. I went alone cause I still feel pretty nervous having others watch me clumsily clip in and out. I have realized that I can clip in and get going without much ado.

I started my ride all by my lonesome when an older gentleman rode up next to me. He pointed out my shorts said "Her Sports, huh." I told him they were from a friend at Women's Running Magazine. He then pointed out my shirt. "Ironman Florida, huh." I told him they were from the Ironman tent sale for five bucks and I'd never done an Ironman. Apparently this was all he needed to become my best friend and de facto riding coach.

He was a really nice guy and we rode along at my snail's pace and discussed running, riding, and tris. I would guess him to be about 50 or so. He knew a lot and gave me a few pointers. One of which was to keep my foot flat. He said he knew a lot of women riders have a tendency to point their toe. He thinks because of high heels, I think it's just because of how we carry ourselves. Toe pointing is pretty!

I think he was happy to have company since he was pretty chatty. Our conversation covered a lot about being a FNG (effin' new guy) and the one thing he said that stuck out to me was, "Anything worth doing, is worth doing good. But, also, anything worth doing is worth doing bad." What? Is this some sort of Ricky Bobby crazy talk? Not really. Upon explanation this made a lot of sense.

When I started running, I stunk. I was out of gas about a half mile in and I never thought I'd get to five miles, let alone ten. I was pretty slow, out of breath, and wearing cotton. In other words, I was bad. But I knew I wanted to be good. And relatively speaking, I've gotten good. I'm no Kara Goucher, but I'm happy with my running now. And when I started, I was definitely bad. Thus, when you start something that you consider worth doing you aren't going to be "good" initially but you keep at it. "Anything worth doing good is worth doing bad." Make sense?

This is how I'm going to approach my cycling. Currently, I'm bad. Ok, I'm really bad. (I fell again on my final stop trying to unclip. I wasn't hurt and this time I laughed!) But I'm going to keep at it and step out of my comfort zone. Sure, I'll get passed and probably fall over again in the clips but hopefully someday I'll be good. Or at least good enough for me.

Thankful Thursday

Unfortunately, tomorrow is the four year anniversary of my dad's passing. My sister and I have dubbed it "The Suckiest Day of the Year." I can scarcely believe it's been that long and yet it still feels like only yesterday I was eating Mexican food with him and my stepmom the week after St Patty's Day.

I write a post about losing him every year just as a reminder to you all, and to myself, to tell your friends and family how much you love them. You never know when you'll have the opportunity again.

In today's Thankful Thursday I want to say thank you to all of the parents out there. I don't want to make anyone sad today and I just want to show my appreciation for the wonderful parents I was blessed with.

I am so fortunate to have a mom who I know would do anything for me. Hell, she's taken me to and from the airport so many times and everyone knows how much it sucks being the airport taxi. She also always buys me what I want for Christmas and birthdays. She makes it a point to get me specifically what I want. I know sometimes people just buy stuff at random, but her gifts are always spot on. And even though I usually roll my eyes at her off color jokes, I usually do find them pretty funny. Plus, who else's mom would pick them up at a bar at 3 AM any night of the week without even batting an eye? She is the person who taught me the most about being strong and self sufficient. She also had the extremely difficult task of telling my sister and I that our dad passed. I can only imagine how hard that was for her. Thank you Mom. I love you.

In addition to my kick ass mom, I've got the world's best stepmom. She's so awesome in fact, that Caribbean Steve met her and gave her that nickname. I've often seen the "wicked stepmom" thing played out in numerous TV shows and movies and it's just not the case with me. She and my dad married when I was little and she's been such a huge part of my life that I hate to use the term stepmom because of the negative connotation it sometimes carries. She's more a friend to me and I can turn to her when I am missing my dad because I know she is too. Thank you Jackie. I love you.

And as for my dad, well he was the archetypal father. He was smart and funny, strong and wise, and could whistle like nobody's business. I'm pretty sure that whistling thing is a pre-requisite for fatherhood. I get my passion (mine for running and his for motorcycles) and competitiveness from him. I also got his sensitivity and dry sense of humor. I miss him everyday and I know how much he loved me. Thank you Dad. I love you.

Thus today, I am thankful for parents. None of us would be here without them and it's so important to let them know how much you appreciate them. If I ever have children I can only hope to be as good a parent as mine have been to me.

So what are you thankful for today?

Cali in a few photos...

As promised a few shots of my Cali trip. Don't be alarmed by all of the food.* Of course I ate it all and must now repent. But ah, dontcha just love vacation food? It's calorie, carb, and fat free!

Me and that other Bob (Bob's Big Boy). They have great breakfasts, burgers, and sundaes!

Dots cupcakes. This is a red velvet, cream-cheese icing topped fantasy. What? I was gearing up for the Cupcake Marathon....

I'm sure you'll notice a theme here with my love of breakfast. This restaurant in Pasadena called Element was ah-mazing. Those little brown guys on the right corner of the plate are called ebelskivers, or stuffed pancakes. These were filled with blueberries and I died and went to fatty heaven.

Nothing says St. Patty's Day like a Guiness. Chug-a-lug!

Ok, so I found this place via Food Network on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives called Patrick's Roadhouse. It's in Santa Monica and they weren't kidding about the food. This is a breakfast burrito with cheese, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and avocado. Go here to see the video about it on youtube.

The green boba tea. I got this at some place in Pasadena.

And of course, piece en resistance - the In-N-Out Burger.

*I swear I did other stuff. I went to the Norton Simon Museum, shopped on Melrose, and ran along the pier in Santa Monica. But all we really care about is the food right?

The B.o.B. is back

The B.o.B is back! Back from the land of Charlie Sheen and In-N-Out Burger. And let's not forget my one celebrity sighting....

Yeah, no one else knew who it was either. Why it's none other than Kato Kaelin. You don't know who that is? Ok, so fine I am the only one who remembers him from the OJ Simpson trial. He was the random dude staying in the Simpson guest house on the night of the murder. He was a witness of sorts and was completely useless in his testimony since he kept being consistently inconsistent. And of course, he was the one "celeb" (I use those air quotes on celeb here) on my plane from Milwaukee to LA. Lucky me.

Here he is at the airport being interviewed by TMZ, who BTW, almost knocked me down getting over to this dude. Kato did seem totally excited to be recognized and eager to talk.

Sorry for the poor photo, it's from Dr. H's cell phone. She had no clue who he was either. Man, I could totally work for TMZ as the photog who recognizes people who used to be famous for no apparent reason at all. Sweet!

I'll have more photos from my trip up soon and of course since this is a running blog, I'll have posts not related to celebrity has-beens. Heh.

Yes, indeed. The B.o.B. is back.

Going back to Cali

I'm headed out to California tomorrow and I'm totally STOKED a la Keanu Reeves in Point Break. Whooa. Or was that Keanu Reeves in Bill & Ted? The Matrix? Oh well, I'm stoked either way.

I'm off to the Golden Coast to visit Dr. H and hopefully she and I will eat, shop, and perhaps get in a little run or two. Since I love a list and this will be my final blog until I return, I have compiled a list of things I hope to see while in Cali and of course, a list of things I hope not to see while in Cali.

Things I want to see:

1. Charlie Sheen. #Winning!

2. The PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) - I want to run!

3. In-N-Out Burger - Died and gone to fatty heaven.

4. Norton Simon Museum - I love a museum and hope not to get kicked out for touching anything.

5. The Pacific Ocean dudes! Whooa.

6. Fred Segal. (Look it up fashionistas!)

7. Colorado Blvd in Pasadena

8. In-N-Out Burger - did I already mention this one?

9. The Rose Bowl

10. My old running buds, Tam and her hubs Dave!

Things I don't want to see:

1. Charlie Sheen #Losing!

2. An earthquake (Seriously! With everything that's going on in Japan I hope this doesn't happen here. My heart goes out to those affected.)

3. A taping of any game show - I did this last time I was there for The Weakest Link and it was THE most boring thing EVER. No really.

4. Compton - while I may have some street cred in the suburbs of FLA, I don't think it crosses over to tha west siiiiide.

5. Gas prices - they are so high here I'm scared to look!

6. World's Tallest Thermometer - cause, well, zzzzzzzzz

7. ANY of the "Real Housewives" - if they were "real housewives" they wouldn't get in fistfights in night clubs and have five maids.

8. Drugged up hippies - I kid, I kid. I'd love to see them! Kidding again. I know it's a stereotype. Right?

9. Bears - obvious reasons.

10. The Lakers - GO MAGIC!

As I'm taking this vacation for some R & R, with a side of fun, the ol' bloggy shall be quiet until my return. You all will have to be thankful for something without me on Thursday. I'm sure you can think of a few things.

Have a great week and weekends kids.

Packed weekend recap

Boy, what a crazy weekend I had! It was crazy fun, but I'm totally zonked today. Let's recap shall we?

Friday night I headed to the YMCA for a swim and got about 30 minutes in. I was just swimming for time to try and build up my endurance. It was pretty chilly that day so I was thankful for the heated pool and warm shower after.

Saturday AM I got up and headed out for my 10 miler which is to become pretty standard during the tri training season. After the run and breakfast with my running buds, I headed to the Ironman store in town since I needed a wetsuit and they were having a big tent sale. Score!

I wound up trying on a couple more wetsuits and got two new cycling jerseys. I finally found a wetsuit that was long enough and wasn't choking me. I went with a sleeveless one because I want that range of motion. I know most folks like having the added buoyancy of the arms but I already feel constricted, so I went sleeveless. Needless to say, this tri stuff is expensive! My iPad budget just got cut. Waaah!

Saturday PM I headed to Orlando to see YES! in concert. Sure, it's an older band, but they are pretty good. Plus it was free and I got to hang out in some old stomping grounds. BONUS!

You exhausted yet? No? Me either apparently, cause I got up before the roosters on Sunday and went to be the volunteer coordinator at the Shamrock 5K & 10K that my running group, the BRA, sponsors. I know we have discussed how awesome volunteering can be and this race was no different. As the official Volunteer Coordinator I tried to make sure that everyone station was manned. Since it's a fairly small race and lots of great volunteers my job wasn't too difficult. I worked at the 2 and 5 mile markers yelling out the times.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of folks who said thanks as I shouted "Mile 2! Race time: 11:20, 11:21, 11:22!" It made me feel great when folks said thanks even though they were racing. Next time you race, if you can, thank a volunteer. They'll appreciate it as much as you appreciate them.

And finally on Sunday after the race me and five other tri ladies headed out to Ft de Soto for an OWS (open water swim). It must have been funny seeing six women in wetsuits walking down the beach because people were staring. One group stopped us because they had a friend visiting from Alaska and he wanted to take a photo with us. Of course we obliged and it was pretty funny!

Overall, I don't mind the wetsuit but I can't see myself wearing it unless I have to. The good news is that it appears I will have to at my upcoming tris so the money I spent won't be wasted. Plus, I'm sure when the water gets churning from all of the other swimmers, I'll be thankful for that buoyancy I felt I didn't need when the water was calm.

Today, I'm tired. Are you surprised? Heh. Hopefully I can get one more post in before my vacation this week but if not I'll catch you all when I get back. I'm headed to Cali on Wednesday for some non-running, non-tri vacation time. (I'm sure I'll get a run in but other than that it's In-N-Out Burger all the way!)

Excuses, excuses

Funny how this blog post title came to mind before even the content did. Yesterday was my attempt at a spin class in the morning and then track (speed work) in the evening. The spin class went great! I was a spinning machine, a veritable leg churning monster. Hell, I could have made electricity at the rate I was going. I finished the class feeling strong, starving, and ready to head to work and take on the day.

I was looking forward to track all day because I had missed a couple of weeks post marathon. Coach EK had some crazy plan worked up for me in his mind and I couldn't wait to get out there and go all roundy-round on the asphalt. My legs felt fine all day and as I love speedwork, I thought I was ready to go.

Unfortunately, this was not to be the case. I arrived at the track and did my warm up with P-Funk. I then got with Coach K who said we'd try some speedy 800's. He told me to stick around 3:25-3:30 for four of them.

So what do I do? I hit the first one like a bat out of hell at 3:16. I'm fairly certain this is the fastest 800 I've ever run. My legs were rubber by the last 200 and I wondered if I could do another. I took my recovery lap and hit the second 800 at 3:30. I was completely sucking wind the second lap around the track. My shoulders were killing me and my throat was hurting. By the third 800, I hopped in with Hollster and Cute K, only to make it 400 before I threw in the towel. I just wasn't right.

As I tallied up the excuses, I felt like a horse's ass explaining why I had such a bad workout. "My legs hurt." "My throat hurts." "Must be getting sick or suffering allergies." "My shoulders hurt from spin." "Waaaaah!"

Truth be told, these excuses are more for the ego than they are for anything else. I know we runners sometimes feel the need to explain why our workout didn't go as planned and I think it's more for ourselves to save face, when in all reality our running buds don't really think anything of it. They just want us to be able to run again and not be hurt. Why is it so hard for me to just say, "I had a bad day." I know I'll be back at the track next week and I know why things just didn't go my way last night. A silly combination of stuff just happened. As they say, shit happens.

I'm taking this as a lesson, and hope you all will too, sometimes workouts don't go as planned and there really is no need for the excuses. Chalk it up to "I had a bad day." We do it with work all the time, why not do it with the one thing we use to relieve the stress, not cause more?

*Steps off soapbox*

In other news, I have a sweet weekend lined up. I'll be swim, swim, swimming this evening and hitting up my long run in the AM tomorrow. On Sunday I've got volunteer duties for the local 5 & 10K my running group sponsors. I'm actually the volunteer coordinator so I'll just be yelling at people to "give them water!" and "get that car off the course!" Heh. Sunday after the race is an OWS. Here's hoping there are no cootie bungalows* floating around.

Also I wanted to share with you all this hilarious cartoon from a shirt I got from my friend, Ze German. Totally fitting right? I don't peddle crap since Dolly is da bomb, but I did totally look like the final square of this cartoon when I fell....

TGIF peeps. Have a great weekend!

*Cootie bungalows are what my friends and I call that random stuff in the ocean that brushes against you and you aren't quite sure what it is/was. Shiver.

Thankful Thursday

On my quest to become a cyclist, or at least someone who doesn't fall off the bicycle repeatedly, I have started using an indoor bicycle trainer with Dolly and taking more spinning classes. In doing so I've sort of re-found music while working out.

As a music lover it's odd because I don't run with music, ever, and I have kind of forgotten how awesome it is to sweat to some good tunes. I have been thinking about getting an iPod Shuffle to incorporate music into runs that I do solo. Since, I obviously will continue talking my running buds faces off during our group runs. (Too bad people!) I use my iTouch constantly in the car and at home but it's a wee bit too big for running.

Last night I got home and happened to have an iTunes gift card from my birthday, so I added some new songs and hopped on the trainer. I practiced with the clips and didn't even fall off the bike once. Heh.

A few of my new tunes were:

Britney Spears "Til the world ends"
Lupe Fiasco "The show goes on"
Lady Gaga "Born this way"

Yes, they are all totally pop/radio play but they are fun and keep my mind occupied. I was wondering: "does Britney ever brush her hair when she's not on stage?", "I like this Lupe dude. I wonder if he's Hispanic..." and "That Gaga is nutso, but I like it!"

At spin class this week (Sunday with Cay-See and this morning with the video screens*), a few of my faves were:

U2 "Lemon" (thanks to Cay-See for getting us in the St Patty's Day mood!)
Jay Z "New York"
Big Boi "Shutterbug"
Abba "Dancing Queen"

There is just so much fun, good music out there it must be hard picking out a playlist as an instructor. And the music helps so much when you just want to get through the workout.

Thus today, I'm thankful for the workout playlist.

What are some songs that your are thankful for in your workout? (No songs? Fine. What are you just plain thankful for today?)

*The spin studio I sometimes go to plays the music videos on two huge screens. It's quite nice actually. Today there was an animated music video by a rock band and for the life of me I can't find it. I liked the song and the video was very cool. Help! There was a guy playing Guitar Hero in it and he looked out the window and crazy stuff was going on....I guess I could just call the studio to find out. But why do that when I have you guys?

Fat girl in a little wetsuit

Today I again asked myself what in God's name I was thinking when I signed up for this next triathlon. This question came as I attempted to pull up a wetsuit that had me all kinds of Chris Farley (RIP) in it. I assume it was just too small because my legs felt like vienna sausages and I was sweating like a fat guy in a little coat....

Needless to say, I'll be getting a bigger size. And maybe cutting back on the calories...

As a runner, I've had to give up some of my runs in order to work in the much needed swims and spins that will help me complete the tri (hopefully!). Let me just tell you, editing out runs is difficult. I love the run and I'm so used to just running that it's going to be a little bit like weaning Charlie Sheen off of porn stars. (Yes, another Sheen reference. It was needed today.)

Fortunately, I have a lot of friends who are actual, real triathletes and have helped me come up with a schedule that lets me keep my favorite runs (AKA track) and most important training runs (AKA the long run). In addition, my tri buddies have set up an OWS (that's Open Water Swim) for this weekend. I'm just hoping no one mistakes me for a very large sea cucumber while squished into my wetsuit. Heh.

Happy Humpday peeps.

Bye bye shark horn

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for B.o.B.

B.o.b had to say goodbye to a friend...ah the memories of our time spent together will always be cherished. Here's a look back at one of those happier times....

Ah the moments we shared with the best shark horn ever...

Since I purchased Dolly (my new ride) and am on my way to becoming a "real" cyclist (don't hold your breath here peeps), my beloved borrowed Schwinn must go back to it's real home with my stepmom. I'll surely miss this bike and it's fat tires, Bozo the Clown sounding shark horn, and pedals that don't make you fall down and go boom. If you happen to be drinking a forty while reading this, please pour some out for my homie. (Also if it's before ten AM and you are drinking a forty, you may be Charlie Sheen. Winning!)

In other news, I completed a sort-of-brick yesterday. I took a spin class at the local Y, taught by my buddy Cay-See and then did a 4 mile run. Too bad the spin and run were separated by about 45 minutes or this may have actually counted as a brick. The good news is that my legs felt fine and I had a pretty quick pace.

I've decided to bite the bullet and become a Y member. As much as I HATE paying to work out I really need a pool and the bonus of spin classes and other classes help me justify the cost. I chose the Y because I have a lot of friends who work out there and there are quite a few conveniently located around me.

So the tri training carries on...here's hoping I can get comfortable enough with the clips on Dolly to actually make it off the trainer...

Happy Monday. Get it!

Thankful Thursday

Since I've been moaning about my lack of races coming up and getting all cracked out about it like Charlie Sheen, Jason over at Cook Train Eat Race sent me a very cool link to a virtual race. This race is dubbed The Cupcake Marathon and with a name like that I had no choice but to sign up.

The rules are simple and the sponsors are AMAZING. And yes, sponsors include cupcakes. Mmm..cupcakes..mmm. Now, where was I? Oh yeah, the rules.

Basically from March 14 to March 26 (two week period here people, try and keep up) you can either run 26.2 miles or 13.1 miles. The key is that you don't have to do it all in one run. Well shoot, we can do that in our sleep right? You need to submit your paces via Garmin or Nike or treadmill, etc. And that's pretty much it. Except there are prizes...and cupcakes. Did I mention cupcakes? Woot!

So if you want to sign up head over the site and have at it. If you don't, it just means more cupcakes for me! Double woot!

Today I am thankful for cupcakes. Er, I mean The Cupcake Marathon. Bring it fellow racers! I'm ready to virtually take you on. And then eat cupcakes....

What are you thankful for today?

Rockstar from Mars

As anyone who has ever completed a marathon knows, the weeks after the marathon can be a little strange. Here you were, just weeks ago training your brains out and thinking when is this marathon going to get here? And then before you know it, wham! You finished, got your medal, and basked in your awesomeness.

But then....it was over. What next?

Well, if you are like me, you become a greedy running maniac, just looking for your next fix. Like Charlie Sheen on the drug Charlie Sheen, you become a total addict.

Because of this post marathon lag, I'm a greedy runner right now. I want to run as much as I can and I want to sign up for as many races as I can. I think it's to replace the void that I feel after a marathon. "People may mistake my passion for anger..."

So I will do what all addicts and the greedy do. No, not shack up with multiple porn stars, I'll sign up for more races.

Let's see, I've got a 5K coming up in April and that *gulp* Olympic distance tri in May, plus the Cleveland Half...but I want more. I'm not sure where this thirst for running came from, sure it's always been there before but right now seems like I need to RUN a la Forrest Gump. (How many pop culture references can I fit in one post? I'm on a roll.)

Since I'm heading to Cali in two weeks to visit a friend, I may find a 5K there or just run around like Katy Perry sans the cupcake bra. Wait. That didn't sound good. I'll still wear a bra, it just won't look like a Little Debbie snack cake. Also does anyone know if Charlie Sheen runs? I can totally see that being a fun race....

Anyway, here's hoping I get my fix soon or I may start saying crazy things like "I have tiger blood!" or "I'm tired of pretending I'm not a total bitchin' rockstar from Mars!"
